I moved from out of state to live with my daughter and three grandkids under seven. Decibel level is high for a 60 plus grandpa and chaos seems constant at times, but the happiness to be part of their lives is incredible.
Happiness has never arrived with easy things in my life.
It is our love, relationship with others that makes life colorful, real.
Love your comment, Marty. I had three children under 4 at one point, so I do know so well how high the decibel level can get. Love fun memories of those times 🙂

Love this… I agree totally.
Working in an early childhood setting, I find this quote to be so true. While parents are so busy working and so busy looking at their phones, they are missing out on important milestones and events in their child’s life.
Yes, we must work but not to the extent we miss out on the important and not so important things which happen in our child’s life.
“our children may not be our lives, but we are theirs.”
So true
make effort…
🙂
That is so true and beautiful.
