Beautiful words of a truly amazing teenage girl, who was arrested and deported to concentration camps after almost 2 years in hiding. Anne’s father, Otto Frank, was the only one of the eight people to survive. The rest of his family, including Anne, died of disease and deprivation in concentration camps….
Anne Frank (1929-1945)
No matter what happens in your life, think of all the beauty that is still left in and around you and be happy…

Inspirational person..
Truly inspirational 🙂
Indeed, I have read the book, never seen the film, never known the person, but as you say, truly inspirational
It is amazing what this up to 15 year young girl was writing. And this all with the horror and threatenings of the National Socialism as a sword of Damocles. I went to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam 20 years ago. And I tell you… I fellt the fear screaming from the walls. Unbelievable that they had to be completly silent during the days, not even using the toilets since downstaires was a shop.
When I read Anne’s writing, I struggle to believe that she was only 15 at that time. Her words and thoughts were so mature for her age…
Yes, very wise… !
she will be a charming and inspiring girl in the hearts of all of us.
🙂
I read the book, saw the movie and visited the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. I cried for three days, it was so moving. If she could find happiness in those circumstances, none of us should ever give in to sadness. Rest in peace dear Anne.
Truly amazing ability to find happiness in those circumstances…
So true and appreciate you reminding us to stay positive despite our circumstances.

yes happy is everything

I read the book, and saw the movie a long time ago… Both moved me deeply. I am glad to be reminded of her. Her life provided strength and perspective for me during a difficult time.
Thank you.

impressive and emotional… ❤ I visited her family's house years ago and my eyes were wet for hours…
I feel very sorry for her dad. It is hard even to imagine the pain of losing all family….
Inspiring!
🙂
If Anne Frank could find beauty when she was surrounded by horror… It is proof enough for me that beauty can truly be found if you stay open to the possibility. Thank you for posting the beauty of Anne’s spirit… it brought tears to my eyes.
