  1. My mind 🙂 Quite convenient too! It travels with me everywhere and can take me where ever I want to go.

    Thank you Otrazhenie 🙂

It depends upon what I think my self is.

When I think I’m a fun-ful, busy, geeky one,, then my sacred space is where I hang IN/OUT with my friends.

When I think I’m a loving, peaceful, clear visioned one,, then my sacred space is anywhere with a simple space & mild sounds.

When I think I’m a good analyzer, a debater, a puzzle solver,, then my sacred space is in detective tv shows.

  4. A sacred place isn’t about being with just me. It’s a relational meeting place; me seeking, finding and communing quietly or in conversation with…the Other.

For me, the “Other” is Jesus..or Daddy God (Abba is the name in the Bible for “Daddy”). Having given my heart to Him, I have abandoned/given up/died to my old nature. Now I’m a kid, in Him, being brought up as His Kid in His Kingdom.

My sacred place is a Holy place…a set-apart place. It’s a place of refuge when I’m in pain or struggling – like today. It’s also my deepest joy and my bubble-happy place. My relationship with Him supercedes every other relationship – the one I share with my husband…even the one I share with myself!

Quiet places is where I find Him. His voice is gentle and I find myself leaning into Him all the time. I’ve learned to do this a lot. Now, I just consider myself continually cuddled in His Heart. He’s the only Perfect I trust will not abandon me, despite all my imperfections.
