“Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”
Mark Twain
From http://www.cartoonaday.com
There are two types of people
You’ll find in this world;
Those that grow young,
And those that grow old.
The old growing type,
Are not very much fun,
They become quite inactive,
Avoiding hot sun.
They complain of misfortunes
Like bad backs and poor stocks,
And soon they need help
With their food and their socks.
But the young growing type
Are a different affair,
They grow ever more fun,
Despite sticks and grey hair.
No longer tied down
To their work every day,
They see their retirement
As a great time to play.
They jet off on adventures,
And plan fun-filled days,
And never become
At all set in their ways.

You don’t stop having fun because you get old,
you get old because you stop having fun
😉
THE END
I like this very much. Wise saying. “You don’t stop having fun because you get old, you get old because you stop having fun”

Hello Otrazhenie,
I make quote posters based on quotes that i like. I have already made a handful posters. And for my future poster works, i decided and would love to give credit to the frequent sources where i come across the quotes that i pick for design.
I wanted to know whether it is fine for you, if i give credit to your blog in my quote poster works, for those quotes that i pick from your blog.
If you want you can have a look at my previous works, here are links
behance.net/satzie or satzdesigns.wordpress.com
If you want to have some idea how i would be crediting,

you can have a look at here,
The green area is where the design would appear, and the credits can be found at the bottom left, visible when zoomed.
Happy weekend Otrazhenie 🙂
Sure, Satzie. You are welcome to use anything you like from my blog. All my posts are here to be used and to be enjoyed. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
🙂 Thank you very much Otrazhenie.
Here is the poster,

This poem I read earlier in the day O. It has a lot in it. I would like to think I am growing young.
This poem is from Pooky’s blog. Love her poetry a lot. I’ve seen your beautiful poem ‘Hope’ in response to Pooky’s poetry challenge. Very nice. I do think you are growing young. Have lots of fun 🙂
Ha that’s where I saw it. Thank you O I would like to think so too. I saw a 75 yr old woman say she stopped adding years beyond her 36th birthday. When asked how old she them was she said -3.
He-he, I have no clue how old I’m. I always tell my children on my birthdays that I’m 23, as that’s when I stopped counting 🙂
Ha a birthday denier….lol……so how many years have you not been counting?
🙂
Good answer…lol
I thought I was aging well, then old age hit me. 😦
😦
Too right. MM 🍀

Fun and oh so true!
From the young at heart! ❤

I really like this and it is so easy to grow old by looking at the numbers-age.
