“I have three precious things which I hold fast and prize. The first is gentleness; the second frugality; the third is humility, which keeps me from putting myself before others and keeps me from thinking more highly of myself than I should. Be gentle and you can be bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among people.”

This can all be achieved if man was able to forgo his natural urge to be greedy. It is all about being able to see others in the same light as yourself. Sounds simple put like that but we struggle to achieve any semblance of it.
So true, Michael. Very well said. Human nature is a very complex beast. Inside each of us are two wolves – one is evil, one is good. (from https://otrazhenie.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/inside-each-of-us-are-two-wolves/ ) The tricky part is to make the good wolf win that life-long internal battle.
So true.
