  2. What a wonderful piece, and I so agree that education is about more than facts and figures that children do need to know about their heart and the power that lies within it. We can make it a better world by showing love and compassion, tolerance and acceptance in our everyday dealings. As an educator my whole career ha been about teaching the whole child and I have been lucky to work in schools where I have been able to achieve that, in my own small way. I like this blog, Do you have a name I can address you by? Michael

I used to be a teacher too, Michael, but was not that lucky with the schools I worked in. 😦 Like your point about teaching the whole child. I think it is essential for all parents to be parenting the whole child too and love the whole child unconditionally, just the way he or she is.

As for my name, I know that Otrazhenie is a real tongue twister, how about Otra or simply O? 😉

I have shared the clip with my friends. Thanks for a beautiful clip.

  4. It sad but it seems that nowadays many people try to educate our minds not our hearts. It shouldn’t be like that, should it?

    • Otrazhenie says:

Nowadays? Hm, I don’t think that the situation was much different in the past in that regard. And so many people are bragging about having ‘educated’ minds while having totally empty hearts 😦
