More and more, I think this is true. We need to be in relationship in this world with others and the world we live in.
Glad that you liked this quote, Ivon 🙂
It reminded me of the importance of silence, particularly mine at times.
Very good point, Ivon. Sometimes silence in communication ‘speaks’ better than words.
It certainly can; nice thought.
Ivon, I was far more inclined to give advice when I was younger. Now, I give it only when asked. And sometimes then only suggestions for a person’s own self exploration.
so true. I think we Bloggers more than any know how important it is to feel heard. 🙂
Very good point. That’s what I like about blogosphere – expressing my thoughts and feelings while also keeping my heart and mind open to other bloggers’ feelings and perspectives. Thanks for visiting my blog, Charron 🙂
It’s hard when you tell someone your problem, and they immediately launch into the seventeen different ways that you can fix your problem. It’s like … yes, I already thought of all those, thank you. I’m not telling you because I want a solution — I’m telling you because I’m reaching out to another human being for emotional support, and you’re completely missing the point. But God forbid you tell them that!
I know that feeling, Michelle. Thanks for your comment 🙂
How beautiful and so true! Thanks.
Glad that you liked this post, Dilip 🙂
Couldn’t be more true!
